Linkies hyped staking for 6 years just to get their measly cuck 4% APY.

The cherry on top of the cake is that Link crashed -20% after staking was released. They even get mad when you point this out, it's a literal cult

Buy linkies will get massive airdrops and fees from other protocols. One of those airdrops is space and time which is working with microsoft. Sure the % seems to be small but don't you think that linkies will benefit from staking? Who knows what else they will receive. What do you think anon?

I've seen various high iq posts by chainlink enthusiasts on this board, and the one thing that seems to unify them is how they see the future unfolding. One where truth replaces trust, which appeals to my better nature. Also I wouldn't call these "fudders" "sane" not by a long shot, the reason being that the archive is full of them repeating the same thing thousands of times, they just insult everyone and post really weird cuck memes that honestly make me cringe, they act as a 15 year old would act. They might not be insane but their actions are far from sane.

4.75%, plus now an additional ~4.5% from GMX, so 9.25% minimum at this point, plus 30+ BUILD airdrops, all it will take is one of those to perform well for another 5-10% of value, and that pile is growing. Plus there will be more deals like GMX. I imagine by the time LINK stakers are rewarded from BUILD, SCALE, and revenue deals, the APY will be somewhere around 50%+.

That gravy train probably won’t last forever but early stakers are going to be rewarded for sure. By that point we might have CCIP which is going to make value accrual even larger, that is when the node stack race begins and price starts to balloon.

In fact, all of these deals happening are going to contribute to the race. As nodes become more profitable, and as that profit scales with their stake size, they will begin to compete with one another on staking APY to accumulate larger stacks. Many of them will also use their profits to market buy.

That is the true catalyst for the fabled $1k run. It begins as soon as the staking pool opens up.

I don’t think cuckold is the appropriate word for linkers, maybe masochist would be more fitting, as you have to tolerate the following from the gay sir:

>Heavy breathing while in front of Eric Schmidt
>Rory adopted his wife’s black child

Thank you anon, I realise that you are correct, most of the threads are very low iq "fud" the reason I started this thread was because I am not very smart however I like to read and analyze smart posts and it seems that chainlink (from what I found in the archives) contains alot of smart discussion in both technical and philosophical aspects. Regarding your question about specifics, what are the next stages of staking and what is the final stage? Already big business entities such as deutcshe telekom and other big institutions are running chainlink nodes, at what point will the system require these entities to stake link tokens? It just makes me thrilled to think of big name corporations using a uitlity token for it's intended purpose; collateral for truth.

>> No.54792216

>>54792123
You're smarter than you give yourself credit for, anon.

As for the future, who knows the specifics? The team has said they're expecting v1.0 a year or so after v0.1, and I think staking pools like SDL will pop up to allows token holders to get some yield without having to run a node themselves. As for APY, I doubt it'll ever be too high, but the token price will skyrocket once the network's mature, so yielding 4 or 5% now will be akin to several thousand percent once everyone's scrambling for tokens to gain access to the network. The team has continuously surpassed my expectations, and I see no reason that they'll stop any time soon. See Ari's recent release of the PROFs paper, getting us closer and closer to FSS being the standard

>> No.54792316

>>54792216
It's too risky to NOT hold as much Link as you can, desu. All it takes is one big announcement to make the price rocket. We all (inc the fudders, who are obsessed holders) know this and are just shooting the shit until that day comes. When it does, there will be a LOT of people saying they wish they'd bought more, and yet others who missed it completely.
I honestly expect to see multiple God candles in the future with Link. People will be buying-in at $100 and looking towards the thousands in much the way we are today at the lower figures.
Buying Link now at this price will be seen as being an OG in years to come, mark my words.

It’s not really safe though because crypto is still so volatile and manipulated. I do think long term LINK solidified itself and when overall crypto values lose volatility (post regulatory world, most likely) then yea this will be some of the safest APY available, but for now nothing stopping the market from taking a shit and LINK goes back to $5 and all your staking gains are completely meaningless.

Opposite of reality. We live in a dystopian world dependent on technology just working as intended, a world full of adversaries and bad actors, a world where threats like A.I. are poised to completely dis-intermediate network security we all take for granted when going to the hospital, getting on a plane, or making a bank withdrawal.

whats the play/what are you going to do when they allow initial stakers to withdraw their tokens? are the current stakers going to get kicked out of the pool and have to make a decision whether or not they want to stake again (mad dash to the pool)? I currently have my tokens staked and I would guess once youre in the pool, it would be in ones best interest to stay in the pool, and possibly just withdraw some rewards if needed for profit. At the same time I also feel that tokens should be held onto because I firmly believe once this is triple digits anons will have severe regret from selling, as low triple digits i.e. $100 could very well be the beginning as we could easily be in the $300-500 range.

It's funny that this post came up since a few minutes ago I was just thinking about how if you could show the current state of Chainlink to linkies here from basically any previous year they'd all essentially agree that it was a scam and that this would never happen.
And I don't just mean the staking rollout. But pretty much everything.
Also if you could show them how CCIP is not even close, while another protocol has pretty much eaten that lunch now with basically the same model(ironically released shorter after OP's picrel's post)...they'd be absolutely livid.
It's actually not even that funny any more.
It kinda sucks that things are this bad...and Smartcon itself was a even that seemed more like directly taunting and making fun of holders...

This is why 99.9999% of the population couldn’t see past Amazon as just a book store in the early 2000s.

This is why they didn’t investment in Bitcoin, and still continue to FUD it.

I'm thinking of Layer Zero in the crypto space at least.
Now of course that doesn't cover all of what CCIP is meant to(or hopefully going to be) in the bigger picture.
But I mean it's annoying to see the same basic core idea validated and successful in literally 1 year after launching. Now with apparently tens of millions of cross chain tx with a simple oracle and validator model that link could have easily implemented themselves as something like 'CCIP 0.1'...you know?
It's annoying. Especially when you know they're going to launch a token and get 10 figures in MC which could have been the hype spark that link needs now.
I'd totally give them a pass if they had kept the team small and lean...obviously that didn't happen though.
