Oh those websites like nicehash might be your best best.

GPU/CPU mining isn't worthwhile on Bitcoin the returns are orders of magnitude lower than the electricity you put in.
You need an ASIC miner to efficiently hash SHA-256.

I like running an umbrel node for bitcoin it has the best GUI, and many apps in addition to bitcoin.

Your best bet might be mining an altcoin with you GPU/CPU and converting it to bitcoin.

I personally don't mine.
But for mining you can approach this 2 ways, a lottery ticket or stable income through a mining pool.

If you're deadset on mining bitcoin with a GPU/CPU might as well go for the lottery ticket.
I'm sure there's a 1 click miner somewhere it was in the original bitcoin core software.

But even then, if you're really lost and up g**gle creek without any hope, you can just go to wikipedia and check for an official website for whatever you're looking up there. Anon I get it you don't know much about the topic but hobbyist mining isn't really a thing anymore. ASICs are MANY orders of magnitude more efficient, making your GPU something comparable to an abacus. And getting your hands on an ASIC isn't easy, many manufacturers have minimum order limits of ~$100k, and single used ones have massive 50-100% margins unless you're lucky to find a good seller (most sites selling used ASICs are scams and will grab your $5k and disappear). Then you'll need a dry space far away from your ears to run the miner, like a garage. It will make noise like a vacuum cleaner running 24/7 (noise depends on the model though). After the $5-10k investment you'll make 1 dollar LOSS/day if you pay normal electricity prices, ~$2/pay profit if you have completely free elec. Then there's the halving coming in 1 year cutting profits by 50%... Trust me, you don't want to start hobbyist mining. It's an industrialized business now.

>I beg to disagree i believe regulation would help create clarity in the crypto industry which would help onboard more institutional players.

The entire point of crypto in the first place was to make regulations irrelevant. Either crypto is truly permissionless and therefore valuable or it isn't.

The earlier you look beyond your nose the easier for you to understand why regulations is important for the worldwide adoption of crypto.

In the absence of regulation traditional institution won't onboard the Crypto scene and this would limit the chances of a global adoption the best that can be done is to leverage on compliance products like TIDV.

You autists never seem to realize that money, crypto, regulations, blockchains, all of it are just people. Sure, crypto provides transparency and restrictions for the ways in which people can act, but in the end, all the code in the world isn't going to engineer away the human element.
The same is true for Monero, it's people deciding whether to use it, what code changes to push, whether to ban it from exchanges, etc. You're not going to magically autism your way out of having to deal with people, or pretend that you are immune to regulations.
