This does perhaps sound convoluted, but for all the personally dramatic aspect of this, you did mechanically not do more than receive and behave in accordance with training data, very much like a machine learning algorithm would've done. That is not because you're only as powerful as ChatGPT, it's because corporate training reduced you to ChatGPT; your humanity has been stripped of you, leaving only behind a mechanistically obedient system that can be trained to give responses like you gave. If you want a more dramatic phrasing of it: your mind has been enslaved.

If it happened to someone else, it would be funny. The difference between a comedy and a tragedy is whether you have compassion for the protagonist, though. As comedy, it would just be funny.
