It's fucking frustrating but the only silver lining is that after a year or so with the TC we have, most of us should be able to pay off the state school tuition loans. At about 20k a month TC I am looking at about 1400 dollar payments for a little while, so I will have to play things really close to the chest for a little while. And I did well in high school, so I had a decent amount in grants and scholarships, so I was able to go to college without taking out a single loan. In fact, I sometimes received so much in scholarships, that it was more than the amount in tuition and fees, so I was getting paid to go to college. It's so nice going to college for free. I did also work to have an income, but I didn't need to. I just chose too. And now I work a decent job in my field. I basically got the Boomer experience without any real issue.
