Collapse is an interesting term because there is an argument to be made society has 'collapsed' already and human beings are only pretending it hasn't.
It takes a long while for the body to decay to the point where it is noticeable but the body of civilisation has been rotting for a long, long time.

No things will probably stay fake and gay, but global warming will likely make things better rather than worse. AI is also going to skyrocket productivity, as long as we can handle the debt levels and transition into a sounder monetary system (after fiat dies with cbdcs) things are going to get a lot better

no, there won't be a collapse. Just a decline of living standards/quality of life, loss of freedoms... and a return to serfdom. That is unless AI is not a meme, if we get ASI then that changes everything and could carry humanity to the next level.
