It seems like only low IQ tards like VR, because I guess they don't have the mental ability to immerse themselves with standard TV/monitor and without movement. Like when I put on VR is seems like just a bigger TV to me, except really uncomfortable and nauseating. And motion controls do nothing for me vs a controller. But then a mid will use it and have dramatic overreaction like thinking its real or losing spacial awareness. Personally I don't get it. I'd rather use a monitor and keyboard, way more comfortable and I don't need to hyper stimulus to enjoy content.

Look into Virt-a-Mate, which is the leading VR sex simulator. It opens a new world of sexual possibilities. For example, wrestle and fuck with tomboy Mila from DOA series. You can set the scene, choose from a huge library of models, change their clothes, body dimensions, and even tune the model's emotional state (my personal favorite is angry-horny).

>>55530366
The experience of AR/VR will eventually be superior to that of using a monitor. It is you who is potentially the low IQ retard for writing off this technology simply because it is still in the proof of concept stage. Apple Vision Pro might be the game changer.

VR visual quality may be nominally "superior" in the same way 4k is superior to 1080p. Is it revolutionary? No. Its a marginal improvement. And that's ignoring having to wear some heavy ass contraption on your face, and lower quality audio because you usually have to use headphones rather than full speaker system with surround and bass that you can feel.

Agreed that it is expected that the visual fidelity should be superior (we already are getting >4k VR displays from pimax) -- the next hurdles on the critical path of VR development are headset comfort (size and weight), followed by software development toolings. Also needed is a universal OS for VR. I don't want to use some gay globohomo interface like Meta Quest that locks me into using some avatar (absolutely unacceptable). Give me a real, full-powered OS that doesn't lock me down and force-feed me advertisements.

That's why think VR is just an alternative to TVs/monitors not a new medium for content. The same games or shows will be playable or viewable on a TV, monitor, or in a VR headset, and the VR headset is just a commodity. There is no reason why metamerves or VR chat or w/e can't just support both VR and monitors. These are essentially clones of social games from the early 2000s that are only hyped because they use VR and supposedly that's new and special.

VR is a gimmick. It has been a gimmick for 30 years. Every now and then there is a concerted effort to make it happen. Then it's forgotten altogether.
The fact that big tech is trying to push a 30 year old gimmick now, is a testament to the lack of creativity and boundary pushing in the market. This is a direct consequence of bringing in undereducated woke cattle into tech.
