Is there any asset that holds a better risk/reward than Bitcoin?

homes. despite what fudders say they are a great investment. the system has made it so that it's impossible for anyone to affordably build a home due to all the silly codes and permits etc, it's all been designed to keep people down. the truth is anyone could buy a cheap piece of land and build an open floor plan cabin for just a few grand. but the system doesn't allow that. so here we are. welcome to artificial fuedalism.

I don't think it's a good risk/reward anymore compared to Bitcoin

that doesn't apply to my situation because i inherited my houses. but if you had the money to just buy a home it will keep going up in value. even if you mortgage it you have whats called equity. you can actually cash out this equity at any time. buy as many homes as you can. rent them out and sit on them for a few years. then cash out all the equity and default on all the mortages. your credit will be ruined but you will make off with all the rent income and equity. will you come out on top? i don't know. but seems plausible.

Yeah wouldn't doubt it's a decent strategy if you time the market compared to buying something like gold. I know quite a few people that made a 4x from their initial investment buying a home in the last market crash and selling last year.

I only hodl for 2-3 years max and dump after my initial investment totals a 3-4x or so. If the market conditions are still good in 2026 I'll buy back, like I've already done twice

probably would work. of course it does rely on this bubble to keep going. which it might because immigrants just keep pouring in and that's going to be the new labor base going forward. they are happy to rent a house than go back to mexico.

so buy a house that relatively affordable, something around 180k to 250k. mortage it. rent it out so that the rent income pays the mortage payment AND puts a little extra in your pocket. make tenants pay for all utilties. let this go on for a few years. meanwhile the value of your house has increased $50k since you bought it, cash out the equity and rent out the house until the bank forecloses and kicks the tenants out. its funny because you don't even have to do the hard job of kicking the people out, the bank will do that for you lol.

so in that scenario you would perhaps make $50k in a year or two. maybe even $100k if things get really nuts. just keep in mind your credit will be ruined after you do this. but you will have a bunch of cash in your pocket so maybe you wont give a shit.

Ethereum. Slightly more risk, much more upside. Btc is basically a finished product and it’s okay but ethereum could potentially become something big and new. It could also turn into fucking dust but risk reward feels good.

I'd probably say that Kava is a somewhat risky investment right now with a potential for payoff if they do manage to onboard people who are willing to actually expand their ecosystem into something filled with projects that solve practical problems, for example.

It depends on what risks you're willing to tolerate, OP. For instance, I have active funds on the Nxra/Dua pool in the DeFi terminal. There, you can earn dual rewards. But, are you focused on altcoins?
