Regarding the PDT rule and multi-leg 0dte options: if I bought 50 0dte calls and sold half at one price and sold the other half at a different price would that count as two day trades? I mean it’s just
>buy, sell, sell
not
>buy, sell, buy, sell
so two different sell orders wouldn’t possibly count as separate day trades right?

AMC is fucked. Anyone who buys the stock is asking to get shafted. Existing shareholders already have got shafted. Don't follow their example. Riddle me this; the only way they can get rid of the debt and maintain profit is if they get back to the level that was last seen in 2001 to 2010. Is such a feat reachable? Fuck no. Streaming and lack of box office hits have put the nail in that coffin. Sure you hear "1 billion profit" for some movie and you think impressive. Which it is. But that's the exception. Not the rule. Back in 2001 - 2010 there was a rare window of movie releases that brought in the sheep like crack. Harry Potter, Jurassic Park,Fast and Furious,Pirates of the Caribbean, Star Trek, Star Wars, Marvel movies, D.C movies. The non Tom Cruise Mummy movies, Mission Impossible movies. All this was new and streaming wasn't a thing. The sheep hadn't yet got burnt out of it. Nor had some of the franchises been ran into the ground yet either.

Basically, any control person (anyone who owns 10% or more of the stock, their first line family members, and insiders such as executives, directors, CFO, and CEO) have to file Form 144 to the SEC to prevent any massive movement in the dumps. If a stock drops down 7%, 13% and 20% decline in a regular trading session, they have to halt trading on that security, if not, suspend trading on it for the rest of the trading day. That's why insider trades must abide by the 90 day rule, where they're slowly dumping their stock in the next 90 days. They can only do this 4 times a year and sell either 1% of their holdings or the average in a 4 week trading period. If I get anything wrong with this information, to anyone reading this, please feel free to correct me.

DE might be my one favorite long termer. I got my son to buy it in the program he's in and he's had it for over a year now. What it tends to do is fluctuate between taking someone decent sized hits, and recovering strongly. So you could just buy some and add to it every time it dips and it should just push that new bit up before long over and over, even just adding fractional share amounts to it. In general though, DE is the idealized form of TSLA (what TSLA should be with less retarded leadership) but agriculture. They are deeply invested/oriented towards fully AI automated tractors and everything else. They will be providing fully bot ran farms of the future. They have one already that has AI cameras all over it that identify weeds and spot spray them, thus reducing both herbicide waste financially, and herbicide pollution of the land. They have automated tractors that the farmer can monitor via phone and instruct it what to do if it runs into an obstacle that it can't figure out on its own. They also have fully electric zero turn mowers. Anway, DE is some serious future growth stock shit, IMO, and should be seen as one of the big tech companies. CAT kicks ass too, you've got some breddy gud picks I think.

Most of T212's visuals are basically "value of fund / money paid for fund" it's technically correct to include the dividend re-investments in Money Paid but it would be far more useful for to have a view where they're basically treated as free shares.

2021 they peaked hard and since then they dropped. Ironically during their peak they were the weakest, 2022 they made good money, now they are a little weaker despite higher revenue (employee costs are way higher in 2023). But still, 2023 vs 2021, they have way higher revenue now, yes less margin now, but at least their result for the period is not NEGATIVE as 2h 2020 and 1h 2021, so there is money attributable to the owners of the parent

This shows you, never expect rallyes to be logical or sane. And NVIDIA is practically nothing else. NVIDIA could make 20 billion in the next quarters and STILL be lower than 450 as VOW.

I'm currently looking into cause thinking of buying, but I want to know what the fuck happened. The market is NOT a functional, rational being.

He would have been right in March if it wasn't for this insane amount of intervention by government and central banks. UBS being forced to take over Credit Suisse and the Fed doing this new form of QE and everything else. Instead of being bearish it did the exact opposite and probably even worsened the bullishness, as it didn't only catch the market from falling, but propelled it upwards, the market knowing they can gamble all the money into nothingness and will still be saved nomatterwhat.

It’s always a good time to buy divvy stocks. Don’t sleep on good dividend companies paying less than a 1% yield but grow their dividend 10% a year. They typically pay out a small portion of cash flow and use the rest of their profits to grow the business and buy shares back. These make great long term investments because the share price grows with the dividend increases and buybacks. MSFT is also a great dividend company. The key is to start early and add periodically.

Kek, pay 29% interest on card or pay zero interest on another card for 6 months on purchases, 1 year later on balance transfers. Uh yeah. No thinking required here. Especially when that free period overlaps with the 2023 tax refund time. The thing that started this whole sad story of meh debt was a little thing called dental work. Insurance only covers so much then you either fork out of pocket or wait till the insurance rolls over next year. Which hey all well and good. The problem? Dental work isn't cheap. The longer you let it go the higher the cost is to fix it. Wife was a long time smoker plus she forgot to brush after a late night snack/drink sometimes. All adds up to obscene dental work.

isn't that just ordinary growth-stock investing? That's what every company that pays no dividend says. "Oh, we retain the earnings to spend on growing the business, you'll get your returns from share-price appreciation, instead of cash" And it's more than a little arrogant and paternalistic for a multi-billion-dollar company to make an argument like that. Awfully easy to game. Bump your dividend by a cent a year, keep it below inflation. Spend the rest on some moronic acquisition that you have to write off a few years later.

More importantly it's no better than pure-growth investing because in both, you're counting on the expected growth to actually happen. The more of the earnings that get paid out to you in dividends, the more room for error you have on that front. A company that pays you a fat check four times a year doesn't have to meet aggressive growth targets over the next decade (do i know what's going to be happening ten years from now? no, and neither do you), it just has to be something that you're reasonably confident will probably get along okay as a going concern.

This is why KO,KDP is such a good divvy stocks. It's liquid going into a bottle/can/gallon jug. Nothing much complicated about it. The liquid never changes either. So to keep jacking that divvy you simply jack prices by 1 puny penny a year. You say what? 1 penny is nothing. Ah but 1 penny times billions (sheep consuming your product) it adds up. There were issues last year where you had massive undersupply of goods with a large amount of re-surgent demand that causes prices to bull-whip back and forth wildly. Prices have normalized and will no longer be vibrating so violently. Just a slow steady 5% y/yr inflation because Jpow is gonna have to hike some more to deal with sticky inflation.

that there were also other hype bullruns. In early 2021 it was rewenable energy as well as food etc. For energy it was NEL and Plug Power.

NVIDIA could go lower despite making more money and being more profitable in the future. You just can't fuckin tell. It's not about what price is right and fair, but how fuckin insane people become.

Yeah, each Friday when the puts that are in the money gets exercised for those with short term insight and craves instant gratification. Puts expiring in 6 months+ however, will just keep on increasing in value. CISCO dumped for an entire year after people realized it was a bubble. The dump is just starting.

Easiest election in history would be 4 years after you have a candidate say "why don't we dramatically increase housing supply instead of inducing demand"
HOOMERS and NIMBYs would lose their fucking minds but it isn't like they would change the candidate they are voting for anyway.
Canada, the US, UK, Japan, Germany, France, Australia, and China all just go "got to induce more demand for the landlord class".

Germany is so fuckin incompetent it's disgraceful. Inviting so many false refugees in, cause prices to surge and the fuckin left party that vowed to build more social houses/apartments manages to only do a little more than 20% of the amount they said they would.

Absolutely embarassing. Imagine, not 25%. 20% would be a E/5 I think in school. 25% might be a 4/D? It's pathetic nontheless.

I mean far as inflation pushing the cost of shat sky high goes in some cases it really isn't that bad. Take Little Ceaser's. For 25 years the cost of the lunch combo meal and a large pizza was $5.25. Ok now the cost of both is under 8.00. Name something else that was able to stay the same price for 25 years straight, you can't. So in this case going from 5.25 to under 8 is not that big a jump when you account for time. Do I wish it still cost 5.25? Yeah, who don't. But I'm not gonna complain about it especially when say Papa Johns a small pizza cost over 8. So do I fork out 8 for a small or go to L.C and get more for my dollar? You go to where you get the most bang for the money.

>the counter argument i always hear to this is there simply isn't the skilled workforce to undertake a massive home building program, neither in direct trades doing the building nor in material/plant supply chains.
Part of the HOOMER agenda has been regulations and zoning laws that make homebuilding deliberately more difficult over time.
I am talking small single family homes that are 1500 sqft or less (such as the old GI homes after WW2). Homes have, over time, been forced to get bigger and bigger over time because of HOOMER policymaking that tries to ensures that new families always have to pay up either for their McMansions or for much larger McMansions (so they pay for anyway even if pirce/sq ft. stays the same). There are already these kinds of in law units that can effectively be mass produced and sited within days instead of months.
It is telling that the past 2 elections and likely the next US election will be endless culture war garbage and nobody will dare mention the NIMBYs or HOOMERs.
The real third rail of politics now.

Kek, not me. I said "fuck you" to the whole college and the debt bag that came with it. Not for me. Far as I can tell the only thing I missed out on was the tons of barely legal pussy all around but really though in all honestly I probably dodged a bullet or two. I mean hey one mistake is all it takes for your life to be fucked over for 18 years you know. Sides far as the pussy goes I did alright even without the college scene so in the grand scheme I missed out on nothing.

Well to be fair hard not to be alarmed by the rise of girly men when parents, etc is basically saying "it's ok, Johnny, cut off your cock and wear a dress if you feel like it" I mean WTF. Back not long ago a kid coming out and admitting they were gay would get them tossed out of the house and cut out of the will.. My how times have changed. Soon going on dates will require a blood test to see if "Sara" is really a genuine Sara or a "Johnny" instead. (At which point you can feel free to throw up if it turns out wrongly)
