User growth has been quite slow. I remember two years ago thinking about the prior three years of 2x YoY growth and how we'd be long past 100M, and here we are stagnating.
Granted, banishing the pajeets and other thirdies trying to farm BAT took out a huge number of MAUs, so it's at least reassuring that the remaining number are more or less "real".

KYC requirement won't be an issue long term for normies. If web3 and brave get adopted, KYC will be a given for 90% of people. And it neuters the pajeets. Brave and BAT serve a completely different function from XMR etc, anonymity isn't important to most people.

lol. maybe i'm wrong, but I assume kyc still drastically cuts down the amount of farmers. And sure, maybe there is a subtle, technical solution to the pajeets that isn't kyc, but if Brave and web3 achieve their vision and become widely adopted, most normies will be willing to kyc anyway.

What if users can have a way to spend the non KYC BAT on chain on vidya or something and Brave can send those tokens spent to a burn address. That could potentially fix the tokenomic issues that keep the price bottoming out at the same price thru each bear market. I’m not sure, I’m just throwing out ideas.
