i made it to the second round interview at trader joes, had to wait an hour and a half longer for interview past scheduled (depsite me getting there 25 minutes early at 2:35) and had a nice conversation with the store manager.

find out today I got rejected and no explanation was given when I called and asked.

should i just go full on neet to force the universe to give me a job?

the universe is being bipolar as fuck right now, and i want a job (i really dont want to be a neet again)

I'll give you $40 to wash out the inside of my curbside garbage bin. It would probably take you less than 30 mins. Do this 10x/day 5 days a week that's a 30hr work week for $2000/week. Or learn how to do something easy like accounting on YouTube and fill out retards 1040s for them during tax season.

Tbh no one should put up with that disrespect.
Waiting THAT long? I wouldn't be surprised if waiting that long was an auto fail in the manager's eyes.

im considering calling her up and asking for an apology for making me wait like that.

she did apologize before interview, but if yyou're not going to hire me then it was a waste of my time and energy that couldve gone into my schoolwork

Ideally you would take one for the team and let everyone know why a jobs guarantee is a good idea with extreme prejudice (in Minecraft). Short of that, gig work.

And end up wasting more time on a dead end?

I mean warehouse work is basically guaranteed, along with soul crushing call center jobs.

also the call center jobs ive seen all seem like scams (not surprised) im tired of seeing scam jobs, i almost got "hired" by one when I was desperate to bounce back after getting fired this summer

Are you White? If so that's probably why. I've given up on getting a normie job and decided to do my own thing. Slow getting started but it has a lot of promise.

Dont do warehouse cuz it will fuck ur body worse than construction and give u 0 skills its better to neet. Find jobs with people u can make frens maybe weed trimming is good entry job or even call center. If u want physical, go construction or dozzer driver is fun too

Jobs to avoid:
>Truck driver in urban settings
>Warehouse

These long interview processes for entry level jobs always boggled my mind. Only time i ever dealt with it was when i applied to work at Target back in ‘09 when i was 16 (got rejected lol). My last career change was when i switched CDL carriers in 2021. I applied to a hazmat company on indeed and they called me same day to offer me the job. Went in for a 10 minute driving test and started the next day.
