Capitalism doesn't work.
The only way to fix things now is by:
1. Making a law that doesn't allow people to own more than two homes
2. Banning investment firms from investing in houses
3. Forcing said people to sell everything they have
4. Government paying for new houses to be built and selling them cheaply
5. Giving young couples a house if they have 3 kids
6. Government renting apartments for cheap to poor citizens
This will fix everything in the economy. Demography and prospherity will improve greatly. Only the rich and greedy will be harmed from this.
I am losing my mind. The property prices are doubling every 5 years here. I can't save up that much. It's the main expense for most people and if you control that everything else becomes manageable.

Of course it works. We don't have supply because we have a critical mass of laws/regulations that has slowed the pace of homebuilding artificially down by a serious degree. Couple that with subsidy in home financing and rents and you get a state created imbalance. Of course you'll suggest even more laws to "fix" the laws that are fucking it up.
