The best they can do for you is STOP you from making retarded investments, and in *good* economic times maybe give you like 5% annual returns or some obscenely low number.

While I don't suggest people learn how to gitgud at stonks/trading, the best advice I give is regularly funnel money into sp500 ETFs like VOO, SPY, or QQQ. It's a second job to even begin learning how to trade.

That was my experience with TD mutual funds. Dont forget mutual funds tend to have a higher IMF than simple etfs. You want market exposure? Buy VOO, boom done. You automatically have diversification and tech exposure. Put like 20 or 30% of your cash im bonds, DCA into both and call it a day
