The tesla bull case is especially weak because there is no realistic path for them to attain the market implied growth.

The only time you see that kind of growth is in disruptive companies that have quasi monopolies like Nvidia and even then that growth tends to mean revert over the years.

Tesla is priced as if it's the only electric vehicle marker in the world and it's destined to become a near monopoly. As if Honda, VW or Toyata don't have some of the brightest and best auto engineers in the world and massively larger infrastructure.

It's simply an impossibility for Tesla price to be justified with that level of industry competition. The irony is that electric vehicle bulls would be way better of just buying a basket of established auto-makers who will transition to electric and are trading for pennies on the dollar.

Number go up because now the bad news is out of the way, chud!

But really, what matters is expectations. The current FMV reflects market expectations. If ER is accurate, it crabs. Otherwise it rapidly reprices itself as people adjust their risk appetite

And really supply and demand is the only thing that matters. If demand is higher, liquidity is removed and the price rises. If supply is higher, liquidity is added and the price falls.

Also saw a few threads that said pension funds being mandated to buy up bluechips keeps prices elevated. Also saw another thing that suggested Gates was in support of youth stock accounts or something as a form of govt pension. Imagine having a forced investment to prop up a previous generation

>Resilient consumers have not only helped the American economy rebound with a vengeance, but they've also shaped the winners and losers of the sprawling U.S. logistics industry. New internal data from Amazon (AMZN) reportedly shows the e-commerce behemoth set to take hold of the annual delivery crown for the first time, shipping a total of 4.8B packages in the U.S. before Black Friday and Cyber Monday, and predicting it will deliver about 5.9B by the end of 2023. Its closest rival UPS (UPS) only handled around 3.4B parcels domestically in the first nine months of the year, and said its volume in 2023 is unlikely to exceed last year's 5.3B. FedEx's (FDX) domestic parcel volume is even further behind, and both companies even include packages they hand off to the U.S. Postal Service for final delivery.

last week I ordered 8 items from amazon all at the same time, I received 3 packages
I am going to return 3 items because its free
and I'm not even being niggerish by ordering 4 different sizes to see what best fits me to then send back the 3 that dont
but yeah the consumer is totally resilient :^)

Divvies are good but not really sure why anyone would go into O. O has been discussed multiple times here and never has anyone made a good argument for it.
But... this might be a good time for REITs. On the other hand, that should already be kind of priced in since the market is forward looking by about 6-12 months. I don't know.
Right now, my main divvie machine is Lundin Gold which is giving me 6+% divvies (at the price I bought) and I'm up +100%. Can't really complain.

We're already seeing it unwind. State of the art AI training software is as performant on high core count CPUs as it is on Nvidia's GPUs. Once that becomes more widely used demand for Nvidia's stuff will evaporate and so will their growth.

This is outdated. It used to be this way because Intel was very slow adding more parallel cores to their CPUs. AMD one upped them bigtime a few years ago and now CPUs do parallel very nicely. Especially with the new SIMD instructions.
Our edge machines at work from years ago have like 64 threads, it's only getting better.

Everything is expensive now anyways, and they pumped up their prices long before news of any such "tax". Their profits are at all time highs from their price gouging, as evidenced by credit card debts reaching all time highs. I no longer care if they get taxed out the nose for it.

Don't expect people to work if work isn't profitable anymore. That goes also for the lowest.

We have this problem in germany right now where government benefits reach almost working wages or exceed them. Why the fuck would you work 8 hours if you can do nothing for only 10-20% less money? That free time is absolutely worth it.

Yes, in both states poor become poorer and rich become richer. But at least in the welfare state the poor have it better. Meanwhile living in your country only makes sense if you make it. And chances to make it increase tenfold with capital, which you don't have if you are poor. And your education is such dogshit you have to go into debt for it, LMAO.
