Everything is more expensive than the previous year so new revenue records of product sold are set each year despite a decrease in numbers of sales. I work in cement and it's even happening here. We have only sold a fraction of cement as years past but our prices are higher so we "made more money" at the end of the year despite less sales. The cost to produce also is increasing as well so I don't believe we are actually netting any more money than years past. Everything is just getting more expensive.

Record sales after inflation. Are they 20% higher than last year, and 20% higher than the year before, and 20% the year before that. No, shut the fuck up. Its like 3% above record which doesnt match inflation for the last 3 years.

>> No.56817721

Also high demand low supply = inflation, so this just means more pain. If people stopped spending their money and held onto it, the dollar would do the opposite and gain in purchasing power. They cant do that though because the dollars inflating and that would be dumb, so they can only spend spend spend and throw their weight further into it. Thats why the banks are raising rates, its why people are encouraged to max out debt because in 3 years itl be worth 30% of what it is now.

We are in a recession. This is an undeniable fact. NPCs who were so excited about Biden getting elected are constantly crying on tiktok about how they can't afford anything.
Also Black Friday is dead, it's a fact that for 2023 most people didn't shop on Black Friday. There are numerous reports and even footage of malls and big retailers being as empty of customers as a typical weekday. This means people likely waited until Cyber Monday, which is coincidentally what this stupid article is trying to spin as a huge win for Leftard economics.
There's a stupid drug for morons who go out of their way to find any crumb of info to reinforce their easily proven false biases, it's called copium.

I hope Biden does get elected again because it's obviously clear those who are hurt the most are the very same NPCs that voted for him. For the past few years this has been sweet schadenfreude and a great source of happiness to me.
If the U.S. were to be energy independent again with a booming and prosperous economy... this'll only give Leftoids more leisure time to create imaginary problems and more time to complain about said imaginary problems to the point where another moron like Obama or Biden gets elected. Rinse, repeat.
