there will be several driving narratives for next pump of 24/25.

One of them will be Move based blockchains. Move = programming language for blockchains. It was created when Facebook was building Libra/Diem. After being scrapped, main engineers from that project wanted to get what they were working on into the space -> Move was born.

Sui $SUI and Aptos $APT are primary blockchains built using Move.

There'll surely be some other L1 / bullshit that pops up. But exposure to these will have primary exposure to the Move narrative.

What's the narrative? tl;dr - move is more secure, simpler to use / more developer friendly, and is more forgiving of mistakes in development. This leads to projects being built more resilient, and having less intrinsic flaws in security or smart contracts. taken to the extreme, this means less smart contract exploits. Less rugs. Less general errors or hacks.

any language specific to blockchains is gay. why use these when there are blockchains with similar tps that let you code in more commonly known languages like Rust, Go or TypeScript?

Again

$SUI and $APT are the low hanging fruit here. $SUI also happens to look similar to $SEI which pumped recently. if you think that doesn't matter, sorry about being poor.

buttcoin ETF could be a sell the news event and cause everything to tank, or cause everything to bad dragon straight up, so obviously use risk management (stop losses, kelly betting criterion etc). But with that said, the charts look fucking identical to other shitcoins / L1s that have popped off recently. $SUI vs $SEI:

There will also be stuipd beta plays. Right now the most sensical seems to be Cetus $CETUS.

Just a dex that happens to run on both of them. Seeing lots of good technical analysis pointing to anywhere from $0.40 - $3.00 in Jan/Feb. Currently feels like its coiling.

Agreed. Everything that isn't bitcoin is gay as fuck. Ethereum included. But don't be retarded - you're in an ocean of fucking retards. They. Will. Behave. like. retards.

Midwits. Midwits as far as the eye can see. They will hear this NARRATIVE, regardless of validity and buy in hook line and sinker. Because that's how humans work, and howe every crypto cycle works. Midwits bite on a narrative. Convince themselves. get fleeced. The only way the big fish win is by convincing the little fish to chase stupid pumps / rotations etc.

As always don't be fucking stupid.

It's all vaporware. No innovation in crypto is real. End of story. Orange computer coins >>>>> else. Get that through your skull now so you don't have to learn the lesson.

All of this is PURE NARRATIVE. this is a narrative that will unfold and drive stupid shit like this vertical at some point. be ready to take profits at 5x, 10x 20x and beyond (doubtful we pump that hard, though always be prepared). Use risk management. Size positions appropriately (based on how much you can afford to lose / go to zero).

2024 is going to be a shit, shit year. Might as well make some $$$ boys.

yours truly

a redact that managed to make 1/4 milly last cycle on obscure L1s, pulled most of it out and lost the last little bit in the harmony bridge hack lmao

Unironically a good post, important to hammer it into people's heads. People fall for traps like LINK, GRT etc. because of the "tech" that is useless garbage instead of just buying L1s with a strong narrative.

100%.

It is so. So. SO. important to learn this. You'll lose / leave so much on the table until you learn it.

And I'm certain some people (myself included) have ego wrapped in it as well. Important to learn how to separate that.

>And I'm certain some people (myself included) have ego wrapped in it as well. Important to learn how to separate that.
Absolutely. People want to feel like they're smart investors who are making le big brain plays on the future of finance. /biz/ has a lot of failsons trying to make it despite not getting into an elite college and SWE/finance job. They convince themselves that they're really smarter than those people because they bought le /biz/ coins.
>I'll show them! I bought LINK!
The joke is on them because the people they envy are dumping equity from vaporware startups and making 10x as much.

Op can I be your student?
Firstly, how do I buy these? Kucoin?
Secondly, where can I read your picks?

There really are zero L1 cryptos that are outside of the top 15 too.
Everything t below that is speculative dogshit. I’m only playing with a few shitcoins below that with less than 10% of my stack.
I do have some sui for the first major pump it has to move that immediately into btc. People are retarded and also don’t pay attention to the amount of coins yet to be disbursed for these coins and sui is a shitcoin like that with 90% left to be disbursed to rape the price frozen.
But you and >>57153526 you and few others will realize that this cycle, 99.99% of these retards will still blindly follow it even if we bash it into their skulls like every redditard who scream ‘muh innovation’

Bingo.

I should have said earlier too about SUI 90% yet to be released - saw that earlier and went "lol TRB 2.0". Real big risk for these projects, not to be ignored

You don't wanna be my student

I'm truly not that good or i'de be rich by now Any who, whenerver you find a coin if you don't know how to acquire it, look it up on coingecko (just google "XYZ coingecko" and it will come up). There is a markets tab.

For these though, I've been using MEXC. If you're an ameripoor like me need to use a VPN to access otherwise you won't be able to. I'm using nordVPN, i'm certain there are much better out there but i'm not quite as sophisticated.

As for reading picks, honestly I doin't even want to start doing that broadly. It's dangerous because everything is a path, not a state function. It's not "buy this number go up weeeeee" its "well. This COULD go, but it could also get fucked in this 16 different ways. I THINK it will 10x, so I'm going to ladder out at 5x,7x, 10x, &15x etc, but I'm also going keep my ear to the ground about similar projects that rug, bug or otherwise fail / flop and might change my mind about it at some point, and probably ride with stop losses if possible.

That's the hard part man, this REALLY is fuckin gambling. Don't delude yourself otherwise. Pure gambling. and that's ok! just make sure you TREAT IT like gambling, not like investing.

With all that being said, I've been watching Skew, Hsaka & a few other OGs. I have a feeling there will be other narratives that pop up. (narratives and memetics are what matter). SOL will be one (i admit begrudgingly because SBF proximity but also because I don't own any yet) ETH l2s & alternate L1s might pop this go around. Shitcoins on bitcoin probably going to soar at some point (stacks $STX ecosystem etc).

devfag here, fan of APT over SUI. More care went into the design and implementation of Aptos vs Sui. Just my 2 cents.

Seems more thought went into the design of the codebase. Has non-necessary features, better documentation, large testsuites. Not to say that Sui cant do this, but aptos already has.
