Because the end of the Adam and Eve is essentially a cup and handle. Also nothing goes straight up. You are looking at a month long candle. You need to research TA in general.

Formations basically never look like the examples you see in books. Those are showing you literal text book painting of candles

There is often slight noise/variation within most formations

However this one on the monthly for LINKBTC looks as close to any I've EVER seen in real trading.

Its nearly identical to text book examples. Its almost hilarious
