Why does it feel like society is being rugpulled as a whole these days? The “supply chain” issues from the pandemic still haven’t gone away. Inflation is out of control and even high earners are feeling the pinch.

Products are made like shit and meant to break. Everything has gotten cheaper in quality but up in price. Infrastructure is old and ready to crumble, services are going to shit too. Good luck seeing a doctor and getting treatment if you get sick.

Feels like the primary focus is squeezing every last penny out of the common man before the economy tanks so they can hunker down while it recovers

because you are young and only started paying attention in the past few years.
this sort of shit has been happening every decade forever.
2008 was worse, but you probably were a teenager at most so were not likely paying attention

That's the primary function of government these days.

after 2008 banks became so regulated and cautious that investment has stalled and investment is what creates production

globalization also killed a lot of viable industries, entrepreneurship is way harder as a result

people are getting fatter and unhealthier, being fat literally decreases bloodflow to the brain

lots of other reasons as well, cbf enumerating them all

In 2008 you could still get a gf. No dating apps yet and social media was not popular

You forgot:

Every aspect of being a human being on earth is being aggressively farmed for content on social media and youtube. There is a constantly decreasing supply of wonder left in the world because we have been conditioned to become content-brained. Everything is content now. There is a youtube channel for almost every single obscure hobby and interest. Every "niche" job has 10000 job applications. You have to search harder than ever for the 'indoor shrimp farming' niches that social media hasn't caught on to yet and made to seem cool.

Every fucking normie and mild autist was getting a gf. There was only like 10% of boys who were incels. Now it’s over 60% and normies are now incels. As a broke acne-faced teenager you could walk around the mall and get girls. It was never this bad

It's only getting worse as the economy will continue to implode

Within the next 5 years we’ll see 80% of men become incels. The 20% who are married will also see a massive jump in divorce. Some chads will just keep going but others will give up too

explain this: The Notebook I bought in 2018 has 16 gb ram ddr for about 900$. 2024 (6 Years later) the same Hardware would cost 1200$. And Most Notebooks have 8 gb ddr. Do you temember the times where the Memory Doubled every Year? Like between 2000-2013 it went from 16 mb to 32 mb and voila first GB. Now its going backwards?? Like what the fuck? Has anybody noticed this

I know what you mean. I live in Australia and bought a 5TB WD Elements desktop HDD in 2016 for $199 AUD. Today, in 2024, the cheapest desktop HDD I can buy at that same store is a 6TB Seagate Expansion for $299 AUD. I know demand for desktop HDD has gone down, but it still doesn't justify the price. I think you could still buy 4TB Seagate Expansion desktop HDD for $99 pre-coronavirus, now they don't even give you the option of buying big storage for that cheap (on a gigabyte per dollar basis).

Op don't listen to this mongoloid, your guess is true, society is centralising, and the system is at the brink of collapse, the American empire with it together with the Fiat ponzi.
Those that know are ransacking all the resources they can playing with their dollars, be it power, goods, resources and precious metals...
The goal of the endgame is having as much wealth as you can before currencies as we know them go to zero.
You probably have until early 2030s before we fully transition to a new system where you're safe to transact again.
