Also, recession avoided because supply side stabilized despite high consumer demand, job growth, and inflation. Raising interest rates was just convenient at the time. The economy was never in trouble as long as supply stabilized. Consumer demand was always gonna be strong, job growth was normal. No price / wage spiral because honestly wages didn't hardly go up compared to the top earners who gave no shits and only found it convenient to raise prices since they had an excuse.
And don't tell me it inflation was from printing money. They did that in 2008 and shit didn't happen.
