Already did and already stopped, how do you think they financed the solar and nuclear in the first place? Its all dried up now thoughever, most of the Western world has soft sanctions in place that are driving corporations to invest in places like India and Mexico instead now that we (properly) recognize China as the only other geopolitical threat to the West after Russia finishes circling the drain.

Mostly, China is just trying to continue pumping the hype for their economy by way of construction. Its already been revealed to the wider investment audience that a third of their economy is just them lying about the numbers and another third is stolen technology. What might have been a multi-polar argument 20 years ago in the aughts is now solidly in the US camp as the only polar power on the planet, and it will remain so.

This is where btc mining comes into play. It can use off peak power to meet demand to keep energy loading requirements consistent across the 24hr time scale.
Meaning, using excess power and keeping a nuke reactor steady, by mining btc, is incredibly smart, and our govt is retarded for not doing it.
