The Gamecube is kino but there's no reason not to choose Dolphin Emulator at this point. You can play in widescreen, use any controller you want, play online multiplayer, HD 4K textures (which don't even need to be custom made now, you can actually get good results just running original textures through an AI upscaler like Topaz), play with mods, etc. With the advent of handheld PCs running Windows hitting the market these past couple years, you can even play Gamecube games on the go (Dolphin does run on Android but it sucks ass and you have to use your phone screen as a controller or a shitty bluetooth controller).

I have a bunch of consoles and games but I always emulate anyway. Literally just a collection because I want to have the classics. Tons of snes, genesis, n64, ps1, ps2 games but if it can run on a hacked 3ds I use that and pc for the rest. Plus I don't have a crt anymore.
