But there was no etf, and people did not try to run from inflation. Also, the real estate market was a way to invest money for many people. That is dead now. Just do what you feel most comfortable. If you can handle seeing it go down below your buying price, buy in.

Lol it's not that unbelievable for someone to have 60k in their bank account. I had 100k before putting 40k into a down payment and another 20k into crypto. Not everyone is your average American slave cattle incapable of saving more than a thousand dollars.
