You win if it’s only downhill after your 20’s? I like to be an optimist but it’s unironically only going to get worse for OP. Best scenario is he inherits some money like if he inherits te house from his mom, but depending on somebody dying to get money is as low as it gets.

I did the same thing in my 29's, got serious in my 30's, and at 40 I'm worth 7 figures with a $200k per year comfy do nothing job.
It's really easy to turn your life around. It takes a modest amount of effort.
