This has really helped me so far. Any other good ones? I've seen The Richest Man in Babylon on here a few times. Is it good?

Also, general book thread I guess.

I would read that book, but I'm just too lazy.

> a self-help book that doesn't have "rich" or "millionaire" in the title
hmm

does it really help? does it delve into psychology and be careful when looking at successful people, avoiding survivor bias and so forth?

or does it just tell people what they want to hear

It's basically just a rehash of "think and grow rich"

Learn everything you can about your profession.
Read books, do training, go to seminars conferences etc.
Find the top men in your field and learn from them, do what they do.

Basically the stuff you know you're supposed to do but don't do because you're a lazy pos.

I've been meaning to read this.
Rich Dad Poor Dad is along the same lines.
Pick that up.

Tracey is good becayse its action focused. Not like a normal self help that makes you feel inspired and then leaves you.

As an author hes just trying to get across goal oriented behavior and how to get from a to b.

Ive read a lot. I mean a lot of self help shit and his is top tier.

OP here. I read some of The Richest Man in Babylon and it doesn't interest me. It reads like a period piece.

Yeah. It's much easier to listen to. Plus, it's free that way.
