What are some things crypto is missing that it needs for widespread mainstream adoption?

Etheroll runs millions even though its a shitty “roll dice” button clicker. FUN is going to be huge once operators start rolling out. You people really have no clue.

> Security.

Most normies dont want to be their own bank.
Most normies dont like the idea that losing a slip of paper/thumb drive would irreversibly fuck their entire life savings.
Most normies dont like the idea that someone much more technologically sophsitcated than themselves could steal their savings with relative ease

> Regulation
Yes, I know that is pretty fucking antithetical to the whole idea of crytpocurrency in general, but there needs to be something to deter theft and, for lack of a better phrase, "bad use" of the system. This doesn't necessarily have to be a centralized regulatory body either, maybe a bounty program could thrive (similar to how CZ basically said I will give a fuckload of money to anyone that can give me information on the Binance hack etc). Again, normies do not like the idea that someone could relatively easily steal their savings with no repercussions.

> Accessibility/Practicality
This one will probably come the soonest, but right now just getting into crypto in general is a mess. As it stands, purchasing coins with fiat is pretty restricted (most people I know in the US only use Coinbase), this doesnt even consider various ID verification and cumbersome fees. After that you have to figure out how to transfer the coins to another exchange, which can be a hassle in itself with verification, and then how to figure out pairings and all of the other shit. And this is with the good exchanges, don't even bother trying to explain using something like IDEX or ED to them. After that they have to go through the shitshow of creating a wallet and metamask or w/e floats their boat, and then they have to secure it and figure out how to transfer their coins there. Not only that, but there isn't even a wallet that can really hold all of your coins in one spot.

So, we'd probably need to see: more bitcoin atms/ways of easily transferring fiat to crypto and vice versa (maybe this can be transformed through exchanges as well); more universal wallets; and probably just more crypto education in general

All it really needs is for some people/groups/whatever to act as banks so people don't risk losing everything by entering the wrong address or getting keylogged or whatever. Once banks or bank-like entities start doing crypto-based accounts, credit cards, debit cards, ATMs, etc and it becomes mainstream knowledge that these exist and are safe, then all the normies get on board because they want to switch to deflationary currency.

That and getting a bit more stable with price.

Financial incentives to *use* it (flipping shitcoins on exchanges is not using, sorry cryptocucks)

Purse.io and FoldApp were both fucking awesome ways to spread bitcoin. 25% off of Amazon and Starbucks purchases. Too bad corekeks ruined those business models.
