Seriously though... Skycoin had awesome ideas but they fucked around and waited too late. Their internet approach was inspired but they wasted 5 years designing a fantasy now their decentralization concept is getting a fucking head shot from fucking Substratum Network. I mean this shitty little network is going to piggyback on the existing net and replace every VPN. Why bother building a new backbne when you can just download a node to ride your current browser. BTC is about to scale and ETH is about to scale... SKYCOINS BIG vision is being pecked too death by ducks.... with that said if Synth starts launching his fleet of skycubes into space.. honestly, any criticisms that call it a scam is plain dumb.

my biggest concern is the implementation of the entire project. Synth has said in an interview that he is not a finisher. it seems like he just dreams up these big logically viable ideas, write the specification for the project then just let someone else finishes it.

What kind of a project in top 20 has only one spoke person with one single face representing the org? Synth needs to realise that we won't scale until he scales himself and take on more people to help him manage the ecosystem. I dont see that really happening yet. The china team is a VERY good start but we need one in the west.

Economics behind coin hours is silly. You gain coin hours by holding it in your wallet. You spend "coin hours" to make a transaction, so you can't spam the network. But it's entirely possible to hoard coin hours then dump them all at once, or buy coin hours from someone else for BTC or whateve. Since the devs own the most supply, obv they'll accumulate the most coin hours at a rate that is impossible to beat.

might spend more time looking at their network design, but it has shady written all over it.
