Is there a point of not using Brave if you're even remotely interested in cryptocurrency?

i've made about 1.5 BAT on this browser but around 5 on my desktop. Only problem I'm having is that I verified my YouTube channel but it won't show up as "verified" when I check, think it's just a bug though

Fucking hell we're almost at 40 cents. I get nervous when BAT goes up like this.

Ironically the one thing that relaxes me is the lack of hype on /biz/ and plebbit. BAT hype is usually concentrated to one single thread. RARELY do you have multiple shill threads. As soon as I see discord/twitter BAT shill threads (like LINK, etc.) popping up, I'll start to get worried.

/biz/ continuously hating and doubting a project + adoption/slow price increase is bullish.

Keep in mind, this was the least intrusive thing in the world. I'd use Brave Dev at my leisure and rarely clicked on the Ads. Only would ever click on the ads that truly interested me. If I kept seeing ads pop up and they didn't interest me, I'd ignore them or turn ads off.

I would occasionally get Ads that truly interested me and I'd click those, otherwise I'd ignore it. It was extremely un-obtrusive and did not bother me in any way - it was essentially the same as if I had never toggled "BAT Ads ON" in the first place.

And I STILL made roughly ~$1 off of this (more importantly I made 3 BAT). I mean from hardly using it at all. Keep in mind, I was literally getting paid to just have the Ads toggled "on". You don't even need to click the Ads.

It's fucking phenomenal and unlike anything that's been done before. It's game changing.

Interesting, that's cool that you're Brave verified. If you linked your channel I would definitely tip you some BAT, I'm always looking to help out newly Brave verified creators.

Brave no doubt has a long way to go in a lot of ways, but I think the best way to monetize it is to inform your viewers that it exists and how it works. Shilling to viewers definitely isn't for everyone though so I understand now wanting to do that.

There was at least 1 ETH whale of old that claimed BAT was going to be the next big moon coin, he seemed to have lots of confidence in BAT and even provided proof (Warosu threads) that he was recommending ETH on /biz/ way back in the day before it mooned.

I trust that kind of ability to recognize success. Maybe it was a one-off but I feel like there are multiple heavy hitters who see potential in BAT.

It's a recipe for a whole new fucking world, we're just having trouble seeing it now because we're so used to the status quo. But social media + crypto will be a game changer. Venmo is already seen as a sort of social media by lots of college students, imagine if they make it 1) even easier to use, 2) more interesting and 3) possible to earn currency on the app without having to link a credit/debit card.

Even though BAT does seem pretty suoybouy, it's objectively not. For example:

CEO Brendan Eich was kicked out of Mozilla for supporting an anti-gay marriage bill in California.

Brendan Eich regularly retweets and favorites pro-Trump/conservative tweets on Twitter.

Even threads over on the BAT Project subreddit, on REDD*T of all places, have a conservative slant, for example Michelle Malkin just came out and stated she uses Brave browser because Google is stealing your personal information. There was a thread about it on the subplebbit and the first comment was a whiny "Michelle Malkin can fuck right off" type of post, immediately was downvoted into oblivion, suggesting the majority of users are actually conservative.

So yeah, BAT feels pretty seouy boi, but in reality it has one of the most conservative communities out of any of the tokens/coins.

Binance added BAT/USDT Trading Pair. And that's why it was pumping.

I really wish more mid-popularity YouTubers/Twitch streamers would catch onto BAT.

There are some dudes I follow that aren't popular enough to straight up make a living off of YouTube or Twitch, or they're basically just making rent money, and here I am trying to give them free shekels that I receive from Brave, but they don't understand Brave/BAT or haven't heard of it or whatever and aren't interested.

If you have a steady following as a YouTubers/Twitch streamer, and you get like 50% of your followers to use Brave/BAT, you'd make a small fortune, especially if BAT ever moons. It's disappointing to see it not catching on yet, maybe it will when BAT Ads comes out, I don't know.

Not going to reply to the retard, but the point is I'm honestly tired of refuting the same points over and over about BAT.

It'll moon or it won't, it'll be adopted or it won't. There's literally no point in arguing with /biz/ pajeets. And I assure you, it IS the pajeets that are so anti-BAT. I suspect we hit a wall soon due to the uncertainty of when BAT Ads will be released. I don't think they'll be ready until April at the earliest. I bet we pump, hit a big sell wall, bleed back down, then maybe slow pump until April or whenever when ads are released.

Once BAT Ads are released it's game on, but I'm sure lots of moonbois will be selling due to impatience. Ironically selling before BAT Ads are released is just about the stupidest thing you can do this year, unless you're swing trading of course

I'm glad others see it this way too. Fusing a cryptocurrency with a browser is ingenious, and being able to earn the currency is unprecedented.

Brave/BAT work on solving problems that need to be fixed (the fraudulent, broken online advertising industry + online privacy), while using cryptocurrency, while giving users an incentive to learn about cryptocurrency, use it, and eventually invest in it.

I know BAT has dumped like a bitch in the past year, and maybe its price movement has never been convincing, but the idea and the team behind Brave/BAT is too insanely good to pass this shit up. It has to work out in the end.
