I feel like there needs to be some sort of catalyst for the price of BAT to start increasing and at this point I just don't know what it's going to be. Seems like the price is completely irrelevant to how productive Brave has been. Price of BAT is completely detached from Brave at this point which doesn't make any sense

team needs to shift the focus on making BAT useful and convincing people that BAT is more than some useless giveaway chuck-e-cheese ERC20 token. Need more uses/reasons to buy BAT, more content producers promoting it, etc. At the moment the price is depressing and that hurts the whole project in my opinion

Is the ad revenue from Brave going to determine the price of a token? Partly, mostly
What is the company going to use the token for besides a reward program for users of the brave browser and content creators? VPN, paywalls, internet currency
Brave has already indicated that advertising will be paid for by advertisers in USD. Doesn't that mean that the BAT token isn't directly tied to advertising revenue? It's both directly tied and not, there is more than one factor that determines BATs valuation.

Weird thing is, for the first time in a LONG time, BAT pumped with this news. You'd think it would have done the opposite. BAT almost always dumps when any news/releases/updates are made official.

I wish donations were instant and there was a better system for tipping content creators that aren't verified

for example I've tipped 4 twitter handles that aren't verified, those transactions just sit in the in-between world of waiting for the accounts to verify (99% chance they won't), and meanwhile my BAT balance in my Brave wallet doesn't reflect that those attempted-BATs are in that in-between of "having been donated" but also "can't be donated". It's kind of awkward and makes me think I have more BAT in my wallet than I really do.

For example let's say I have 20 BAT, I tip 5 BAT to @Jack. My wallet still says 20 BAT until Jack verifies and accepts the BAT, but I have no idea if/when that will ever happen. So then 1 week later I log on, oh I still have 20 BAT, I donate all 20 to @anonymous who happens to be verified. So then all 20 BAT is sent to @anonymous. Then the next day, @jack verifies his account. What happens? I guess he doesn't get the BAT? It's kind of weird.
