Brave could develop the "BAT to pass paywall" in 1 minute, Brendan Eich has already commented on this and it sounds like they're ready to implement it. The problem here is negotiating with WaPo and waiting for them to be ready to integrate this "BAT for paywall" type deal. Lots of moving parts.

Anyways BAT is a legitimate project with an awesome team behind it that includes programmers, researchers, scientists and web developers. Eich literally created Javascript and started Mozilla.

No scam here obviously, but /biz/ is brainlets so there's no point in arguing.

All I can say is I fucking love BAT and I really think it's going to be something big one day. That being said I wouldn't expect some epic pump & dump like you get with a lot of these shitcoins. Expect some turbulence but steady growth over time. Hopefully it'll be worth it in about a year or 2.
