This is essentially XRP all over again, with endless "muh big tech, revolutionary for world banking!" promises, only to fumble the bag to centralization. By this, I mean they propose big promises, but behind the veil is that these institutions (Ripple and Chainlink labs being the biggest examples) fail to understand that centralization is simply the way of the world. Therefore, JPMorgan, Citi and the like will simply come up with their own centralized product that steals an idea from a decentralized product, and run with it. Remember how Zuckerberg stole the idea of Facebook from his roommate at Harvard? Now Zuckerberg is a millionaire.

In other words, these big guys/major financial institutions understand how the real black pill in making billions works. The secret sauce is to steal an innovative idea from someone else who is too autistic or slow to understand how the normie world works, and they run away with it with their marketing expertise and become rich.

I honestly feel sorry for the people who put their entire life savings into LINK. Their big failure was misunderstanding that Sergey's spergness would be Chainlink Lab's ultimate downfall. He ignored Schmidt's warnings and here you all are now.

EVERY single time I started a side business or tried ANY money making method online, I always ended up in a net loss. Got revenue, yes, but the costs always overwhelmed any revenue and I ended up losing money.

Please list all college degrees that are thought of as "prestigious" or "guarantees you a job" at one point of time but are now are either outright scams are oversaturated to hell.

> Mechanical Engineering (very hit and miss with grads, some get no job at all while others get $100k+ right out of the gate)

Every single job board I look into for IT/tech jobs that are compatible with my prior experience, this is what I find:

> Only 2-3 pages of search results
> Anything "entry" level wants literal senior level of experience (10+ years with expertise in every area imaginable)
> Absolute puke level depressed salaries ($50k for a position that demands 5 years of experience? fucking seriously?)

And no, I'm not looking at just one specific IT job type. The only stuff that's available right now are senior level depressed wages or straight up fake job postings, and not very many search results at all.

I thought redditors were being overdramatic (as they usually are) when they were complaining about the job market, but fucking A I didn't know it was THIS bad.

Fucking hell, I'm so screwed. I might as well throw a hail mary on another business and hope it succeeds this time.

Seriously, the vast vast majority of the famous ones and even technical based ones I've wasted my time reading are diaries of narcissism for 95% of the entire book(s), with maybe 5% of it being high level basic outline shit that was already told on YouTube thousands of times.

I'm starting to believe that books fall under the "self-help" scams that coffeezilla talks about all the time on YouTube.

Please convince me otherwise with REAL examples of GREAT books that are all technical and get straight to the point (ie: a sales book that gives you a bunch of winning scripts throughout, and some psychology tricks to use - no narcissistic storytelling that doesn't help!)
