I did Jiro! I bought two $1 earbuds, cut it up to a good length according to reference pics, and then put folded floral wire next to it (other wire that's thicker but bendable is probably better) and covered it in regular tannish masking tape! I made the cut ends into hooks to keep them on my ear since the wig covers up that part. If you have medical tape, you could secure it even further.

here's a doodle of what it looks like? The parts showing over the hair would be covered in real life.
