I personally do not do it, but there is various reasons to have to brush your teeth. Like anon mentioned, they are worried about tea stains, perfectly fine. Some people use invisalign (a form of braces) and have to brush their teeth after every meal.

Every human is different. Stop thinking you're superior just because you don't have to brush your teeth or feel the need to brush your teeth after you eat. You're not going to die. It's not like your wiping your toothbrush along the counters and mucking it up before brushing your teeth.

It's probably one of the most petty things I can think of picking on someone for, like how does that sound in your head? "EWww! She's brushing her teeth after she eats! That's SOOO GROSSS!"
