I'm going to my first con ever all alone and I'm scared. I'm mentally ill and have an awful time with socialization, loud noises, strangers touching me, and huge tightly packed crowds. To make shit worse, I have physical problems as well like polyarthritis and standing for too long really takes its toll on me.

I'm a little frail bitch crybaby nerd and I definitely shouldn't be going with all these conditions, especially alone, especially considering I'm poor and shouldn't be wasting money, but I already bought tickets and plane tickets with hard earned money (no refunds).

Scared it'll be all a waste of hope, time, effort and money.

yes, and I wanted to but my mother won custody (of course), and even now that I'm of age, I cant live with my father because he already lives in a shared house with other relatives (my aunts and uncles, cousins, etc) that's too full, my dad already sleeps in the attic

we've tried seeing if we put our money together if we could rent our own little space but it's impossible, especially with tourism and foreigners coming in, prices around here are skyrocket
