Fucking this. It seems early to you people because westerners tried to sex it up in it's early stages. People weren't as aware of what lolita actually was, so anything frilly seemed lolita to them.

It's very informative of what the early stages of lolita looked like. "Ero" was not a thing. Wearing bloomers and fishnets is just what it is, it's not a lolita sub-style.
Yes, there were less strict guidelines/rules back then, but they did not slut it the fuck up. A lot of it was also handmade. Most of the things they did that people don't really do anymore would fall under olschool anyhow. (Visible bloomers, for example)

Then gtfo of lolita, it's obviously not your thing if you like slutty goth clothes. You can still wear bloomers and a corset while being goth, you don't need to call it lolita.
