>cosplaying a character from an older series with a pretty plain outfit but very specific hair shape
>No matter how many times I tried I couldn't get my wig to look right
>Scared nobody will recognize me
>Go to panel for the series
>Lots of people recognize it and take pictures
>Go to autograph session for the creator of the series
>He says "oh (character)-san!" When I get him to sign stuff for me
>Feel really good about myself now and am motivated to get that wig to look better for next time

My husband and I just got our offer accepted on our dream house. My husband said I can decorate however I want and we'll finally be living somewhere where he has a workshop he can dump all of his tools and things that always end up cluttering our apartments. Our closet will just be for clothes because there will be other closets he can put all of his building stuff in. I can finally have a kawaii house. I won't feel embarassed to have people come over because we're trying to fit a whole house full of things in such a tiny area. I know that it will take a while to make the house perfect because things like taking out the carpet and buying furniture will come before kawaii decorations and we have a limited income until i finish school and start working but still. I'm so excited. Also i can finally unpack all of my lolita that has been in storage for the past few months!!
