You could tell him if you really think you are pregnant, honestly I had a fairly similar thing happen to me.

My boyfriend had a pretty rough patch and he said he needed a break to re-think his life because of personal stuff his mother had just died so I gave him space. Until about a week later.
I was pregnant, and told him immediately when I found out. He didn't think I was serious at first and I had to make sure he knew that I wasn't actually lying.

What I didn't tell him at the time is that I was scared to fucking death of being a single mom and being pregnant alone. I didn't want to guilt him into it but I figured look we're both idiots for not wearing a condom, plus he has to know it's his child as well.
We came back together and later told me that me being pregnant was what helped him a lot because I guess it was a motivational thing and that being a father gave him a purpose to buckle down.

Also adoption is a thing, I honestly couldn't fucking think of being a single mom, we were miserable as it was but having each other helps a LOT.
