Of course CGL has higher standards, it's a smaller community and people don't hold back if your bag is bad.

weight loss isn't easy. I ran a cosplay page, gained 50 lbs, and people harrassed the FUCK out of me.
any time I was harrassed, I just felt like utter shit about myself, and was like "why the fuck should I lose weight, to make these assholes happy?"

I associated weight loss = making everyone who's ever insulted me for being fat happy and didn't want to do it because I didn't want these fuckos to feel justified in their insults, which had me crying a lot actually.

since weight loss is a LOT of fucking work, and takes a lot of motivation, everyone has to find their own reason. what would make ME happy if I lost weight?

I chose to lose weight so I can cosplay characters that show midriff again, and I chose to build muscle because I want to be able to pick up my boyfriend one day (who is currently a fatty who is losing weight)

his reason? he doesn't do it for me, he did it for himself, because he wants to live a life without fat people health conditions.
