I get super salty when I'm at conventions so I don't go anymore, but I really wish I could enjoy them and that's why I'm salty.

I see people even my age who are just having fun, doing cosplay (even the half assed stuff) and just hanging with friends and having a laugh. I've never made a friend at a convention, always just tagged along with my bf or did a panel and then I didn't know what to do after that past browsing the artist alley.

I always get irritated by these people, and I used to put it down to them looking bad or having no self awareness, but I'm honestly jealous. I wish I could be that oblivious, put more effort into making memories and friends than making a perfect cosplay/coord, and have a group of pals to meet up with again and again.
