>been nearly 5 years since I've been to a con
>moving back to Florida in July, but flying in on Friday and going to Hmat during my Christmas vaction for now
>met new group of friends online that I'm hoping to mesh with when I get there
>didn't have enough time to lose all the weight I want, so no cosplay (male, been lifting, lost 30 pounds so far and considerably better built now, but still need to lose 50 more pounds)
>terrified of looking weird and anxious because I'll be alone 60% of the time and I'm strictly there for art alley because I'm also an artist and looking to decorate my apartment with good stuff
>don't even have graphic tees that fit my smaller torso so I'm basically going to the con as a hentai background character (I bathe and groom, but I'll basically look like a boring fuck with nothing that makes me stand out)
>naturally gregarious, so being alone in a crowded space with no one to talk to is something have exactly zero experience with
>stressed I'm getting too old for this shit (mid 20's)
I know this is kinda off topic for this board but I mostly have just been lurking and wanted to vent. Sorry.
