I have this bag in black and gold, and believe it is different from most other brand bags because there is a solid structure inside to keep its form. It's almost like a box, which is cool because I can bang it around and it doesn't lose its shape. But I don't think other brand bags are anywhere near the quality of this one because of its unique structure. I agree with you though that buying brand for the unique shapes is fun and a good reason to get them, but personally I can't justify the price when there are places like Artherapie that are made way better and with real leather.

AP and IW bags are flimsy as fuck. I have the AP piano bag and an IW purse (can't remember the name) and they bad enough to convince me my money should be spent elsewhere.
