Ugh. That kind of people might say we're retarded all they want but they clearly are not really bright lights themselves. Maybe it's to make themselves feel better? Maybe their lives are so boring and sad they desperately want to capture that instant in hope of some likes on social medias or with their "peers"?
Also maybe some are just bitter they don't have the courage to be kawaii. Once, a high school "bully" that used to constantly bash me about my clothing messaged me on social medias years later to apologize and said she was jealous i was brave enough to wear such cute things and that she felt she just wouldnt suit it and be rejected by everyone she knows if she tried. Forgave her and gave her advice if she still wanted to get into cute fash.
