i really wish i could just wear the clothes i like without attracting so much attention

i mean, i know it's a silly wish as a lolita, but i'm tired of answering questions and being approached by onlookers every time i go out. i am an introvert. i want to wear my frilly armor in peace. i accept that lolita is abnormal and that i will attract questions and comments but sometimes i wish people would just shut up and let me get to where i need to go. i'm just agitated because today was especially bad and a lady flipped up the skirt of my JSK to "see what was underneath" while i was shopping for furniture.
