It's not as brownish as in the picture, it's more an eggplant color. I really like it. I couldn't get a good picture on my phone, but this is close, maybe with just a hint of raisin in it.

So glad I sprung for it! In spite of being fully lined, it's really lightweight, and great for rainy days when it's not cold as balls.
