Can't help but feel if the gender roles in this post were reversed, you'd be told to go back to /r9k/

Brenda Romero's panel on the history of sex in videogames was pretty interesting and informative, except for the bit where the panel room's door was left open and there was some loudmouthed retard right outside the door having a conversation full volume while being completely non self-aware and not noticing the room full of evils being cast in his direction out the door.

Of course whiskey tasting with our man Michael went down a treat as always. I'm hoping I get to see him again in some other capacity.

Cosplay Blind Date was a complete trainwreck. Seems like they couldn't round up enough contestants so we only had 3 women to pick from Ireland's finest autists. There was a cringe singularity forming over at our side of the room the entire time. None of the questions were answered with anything remotely resembling wit. Fair play to the guests (can't remember their names) for trying their best to salvage what they could.

Pub Quiz was just an excuse to get pissed on the Friday night. Had vodka under the table the entire to go with the pints, which were surprisingly reasonably priced for Croker at €6. Some of the categories were utter shite, like having to name Cardcaptor Sakura clow cards. That and the fact that the convention's organisers consider Avatar to be proper anime clearly didn't sit well with anybody in the room.

Mate and I sat in on GeekEire's retardation and had to leave after literally 2 minutes because the room was obnoxiously hot and some of the shite Burke was coming out with went beyond cringe.

I never buy anything from the trade hall but still managed to end up there 5 times over the course of the weekend because of mates wanting to have another look.

Honourable mentions to Ryuko and her fine arse, the JoJo panel (from a newcomer's perspective), the lad in the giant inflatable T-Rex costume scaring the absolute shite out of my easily startled friend and the Croke Park staff for having to put up with another weekend of concentrated autism.

Thinking of starting SeshCon, lads.
