Yep! tends to be what most people do imo. Makes it easier to start a convo that way and you can take fun pics together. I've even gotten free stuff from people just because we cosplayed from the same series uwu
The cool thing about cons is that they also attract the good kind of autists that like to talk to people and gather people up for karaoke and shit so it works out. Cons are a good time once you get out of your comfort zone.
