Man, different anon here an I do agree with your advice, but this sounds so boring.

I can now see why itas like to ignore the rules now, none of this planning sounds as exciting as it was for fouteen year old me to just buy random shit off ebay and find things in shops and throw it on with missmatched "loliable" shit.
I felt like a superhero princess with my own invented world. This sounds more like comparing insurance quotes or something.
I looked like shit and it was a long journey of trial and error, but those memories will always be fond ones.
