Every time I see it in my closet I just sigh in contentment; it's such a beautiful cut, color, and the lace is just breathtaking.

sorry for blog post, but I recently got pic related. While it was still on a hanger, I unzipped it, but the zipper had so much trouble getting down past the waist seams that I had to pull much harder than I was comfortable with. It was even harder pulling the zipper back up.

I am several cm under the minimum bust measurement, but I couldn't even get the zipper past the waist seams when it was on. I gave up until today, and tried to zip and unzip it while it was still hanging up to loosen it up, when I noticed that a few of the side seams had loosened up to the point that a few of the gathers in the skirt closest to the zipper had loosened as well.

I can now zip and unzip the dress much more easily, on a hanger and worn, but I'm still kind of upset that it took loosening the side seams of a brand new dress to fit someone well under the minimum measurements.

Is this normal for some dresses? And do I need to sew/repair anything to keep more threads from unraveling?

I know reservations for the Lace Frill JSK opened on February 8 and should be in stock around early March. So it's way too late to try to email Baby and order one now, right?

I love red and white old school too much. I'd love to one day get my hands on some red velveteen with white lace, too. Thank you, Baby, for still doing old school style releases.
