im going to level
with you, partially for quick results and partially so other people have a laugh and possibly chime in. my friend surprised me that we are on the waiting list for a con coming up in a month and now i have only a month to learn how to scan my art and turn it into sellable merch. they seem to think we will get the table. would you suggest just abandoning anything that isnt illustrator for ease of use/ quick learning? I spent a week on gimp, then someone suggested inkscape so ive spent a week on that now. and im making slow progress. time is obviously of the essence, but i know i can do it. i make money as a traditional artist, im not just a random deviantart kid, but with digtal art im completely out of my element. i guess what im asking is what program can i get the most bang for my buck for in a time crunch if i go at it fill time? art is what i do full time but ive found myself in an interesting situation that i can use quick advice on. i sell oil paintings and illustrations for decent amounts of money so i feel that learning how to make flat simple graphics ans cartoons should be a quick process for me once i find my footing.
