This just happened recently and it still bothers me

>go to a con with big friend group for the first time
>guy I've had a crush on for years (let's call him M) is going
>wanted to try to get close to him during the con
>only catch is that his brother (we'll call A) is going and he's in love with me and gets mad/jealous whenever M interacts with me and makes everyone uncomfortable
>everyone is kinda sick of A's shit but really like M so they try to tolerate him

I have two stories but this one was more embarrassing and makes me think I'm dealing with a child

>At the dealers room
>Everyone decided to stay together for the first walk around and then separate to buy things and get it over with
>We stop at a table that is selling a bunch of Japanese snacks and they had a buy one ramune get one free deal
>M is next to me says he never had ramune before
>Willingly say I'll buy both of us one
>A rolls his eyes and sighs constantly
>Hand M the ramune and we continue walking around
>We browse and buy some prints and pins while A is right behind us watching the whole time
>A constantly pulls M aside and says things to him, M is starting to look uncomfortable and miserable
>A starts complaining to other friends when we leave the dealers room
>We sit outside looking at the things we bought and M is sitting quietly hasn't touched his ramune
>A says "Well if you're not gonna drink it I will. You're wasting anon's money"
>I take it and just put it in my bag
>A yells at M to go buy both of them ramune
>Everyone is sitting there awkwardly
>They come back and M looks miserable and silently drinks it
>A continues to get mad at M for the rest of the con, even when I played a round of Taiko with him A threw a tantrum
>Group disbands mostly because of this and didn't wanna deal with A's shit anymore
>M sticks with him anyway because they are brothers

>TFW may never get to bang a rosa cosplayer
