I am planning on cosplaying Nonon Jakuzure from Kill la Kill sometime in the future, probably this year, and I need some help with figuring out how to set the skull into the top of her hat. This probably has a really obvious solution, but I can't figure out how it should fit into the hat. Thanks!

So this is going to be my first 100% from scratch cosplay and I'm stuck on a few parts

How should I go about making her hat? I was contemplating making it out of an actual bucket but I don't think I'd be able to find any that'd work.

I have no idea how to handle her collar/yoke. Anyone have any tips?

Any help/tips are appreciated!
