Of the most relevant things that happened at the tea party was a particular present given to Misako.
The best-dressed girl at the tea party gave her a traditional "Catrina"
Im no expert but I think this was not a proper gift, specially because Japanese people have no idea about Mexican customs and giving someone a skeleton could be easily upsetting to them.
Misako just said the skleton was scary nd was dressed very elegantly.
